Chariot of Heart and Mind

The chariot has two horses

Called Heart and Mind

racing in their own fury

Neighing in the strokes of urges

Spurred by the driver’s goading

Hard and harder, fast and faster

As the horses are galloping

On the long and winding road

Toward the unknown end.
