Yesterday, yes her day
like any day as her only
today became bygone
like today, the moment
like this now, gone, ticked
but she can’t just look back
and say it’s just gone away.

Yesterday
-
Willow
She speaks the language of wind
only the children of sibyls can hear
in the susurrus of her rich sylvan hair
fluttering in the sweet soft twilight
with the scarlet hues of sunset
lingering in the west of the sun.

Twister
The mind has one door
To various worlds of which
Each illusionist is brought
An elixir for lasting euphoria
In the likeness of gossamer truth,
Fleeting, transitory, apart, adrift
Never realized but only chased.
-
ablaze
She believes none, belongs to none –
God, Satan, gods, goddesses, angels
Fairies, spirits, witches, ghouls, demons –
Those high powers, the principalities
Showing the pareidolia of her life, dolorous
Intricately woven by multiple strands
of twisted fate for the curse cast in spite
whisper to her soul for an eternal constituency
in Heaven and Hell, the Beyond and Nether.
Yet she scorns all of them, spurns them all
For she knows her gift for disaster is real
With a Fate Note, she writes she is a Firestarter. -
bespelled
She comes floating, smiling
Auburn, porcelain, ruby, sapphire
In the enchanted panoply of beauty
Even a god of death and demons
Die for willingly completely forever
Though beauty is only a potent spell -
beginning
Look at the sky and find a day moon,
Go and catch the borrower with a pin,
Tell me where all pasts have gone,
Or who has tricked the fire demon,
Teach me to hear nature’s whisper,
And to walk in the sky, beautiful.
