A Baby on the straw bed
In a stable on a cold night
Beneath the stars Bright
Brings joy to the world
And hope to the beholder.

A Baby on the straw bed
In a stable on a cold night
Beneath the stars Bright
Brings joy to the world
And hope to the beholder.

When a thirsty wayfarer
sees an oasis in the desert,
And a weary sailor beholds
the kingdom of shore distant,
the joyful tears of the beholders
remove the stains from the chamber
of the hearts furious of grift desire
And return them to the tender hearts.

Hollow cheeks
Sunken eyes
The #gaunt poet
He may look,
Passion fills
His heart with
Paramount excitement,
Truth quenches
His mind with
Imperturbable reason
In his Palace of Soul
Stone by stone
Prisoners of Reality
Against the minions

That violet violence
That wild wantonness
Streams from all their
Actions and countenances
Tranced in blind madness
Chanting a license to murder
A prayer for autonomous power
To obliterate a cry for help forever
They are maenads undercover.
Some say hope is
A scandalous charmer
That is nothing but
Hubris, a dangerous
Illusion to hanker after
A desire that leaves
An innocent wisher
Consumed with thirst
For elusive dreams
beckoningly solicitous
In evansecent mirage.
