Charmer

Some say hope is
A scandalous charmer
That is nothing but
Hubris, a dangerous
Illusion to hanker after
A desire that leaves
An innocent wisher
Consumed with thirst
For elusive dreams
beckoningly solicitous
In evansecent mirage.
