Under the mast of destiny
I sail away, far and wide
in an unpathed seaway
with or without luck’s aide
to uncharted shores
where my voyage anchors
in love’s meetings.

Under the mast of destiny
I sail away, far and wide
in an unpathed seaway
with or without luck’s aide
to uncharted shores
where my voyage anchors
in love’s meetings.

The luminescence of the lunar beauty alone
Quells the untamed roar of the wild ocean,
Illuminates the somber kingdom of the shore,
And pours the perched heart with pleasure.

I think myself awake when I dream
Of the vivid visions of the world
I am in – as I have never been;
Of the fleeting faces of the crowd
I see – as I have never seen.
In the Forest of Arden
I dream alive, today, again.

A new day is born, as the light
Divides the sky and the earth apart,
when the specks of sunlight bright
Fall from Apollo’s golden chariot.
And songs of a bluebird waft
From the leaves of trees afar,
As I see the longing for tidings
Resembling the sun in the mist.
Then the arc of the rainbow appears
From the misty nascent fresh sky,
And my eyes fill with infant joy
Reflecting on the diamonds of dews.

Into the heart of the dark woods, she saunters
where the ravens of Odin watching, ascending
the stairways of shadows hanging over the trees;
In the trail of the terrible mystery, she travels
with the hounds of Artemis howling, descending
The mountains of memories scattered on the grounds;
Where she goes, she knows not
But the fate of a ghost she knows;
Wandering by day, haunting at night
Always a stranger among strangers,
a changeling belonging to naught
Drifting into the maze, she follows.

I ride on the wings of the wind
Flying high o’er the mountains
Across the deep, vast oceans
Touching the lovely fluffy clouds
Breasting the pure sea breeze
In the soft sweet hues of sunset
Lingering in the dazzling twilight
And find my star shining bright.
