The doors of time closing
The candlelight flickering
In the wind of the hour
Entering the chamber
The dying candle shows
The last slipstream of times
Wistful images of memories
Even those I want to forget
Yet I don’t want to forsake.

The doors of time closing
The candlelight flickering
In the wind of the hour
Entering the chamber
The dying candle shows
The last slipstream of times
Wistful images of memories
Even those I want to forget
Yet I don’t want to forsake.

For all those years
For all, I have not done
For all, I have been
I have never seen
I have never known
What is to be loved
As a prisoner of fate,
I don’t know if I could
Handle the joy of liberation
When death comes
For I don’t know what fate
Has after the celebration.

Eeny, meany, miny, moe
Who’ll spend the night
Under the old oak tree
To meet and greet the spirit
From the world in-between
And chase it all night long
While heard but unseen
Laughing then howling
Till the first ray of the dawn
Basks it in light and let it go.

Love the face of fawn
but to fawn about it
leaves me all alone
in the crowd of lovers
glowing, admiring
wishing, parting.

Artemis, Venus, Polaris,
Io, Callisto, Europa,
Orion, Scorpion, Saturn
lace the night sky
with the Auroras
like a beautiful muslin
curtain of heaven.
