Winged

Still yearning
Still learning
The eager heart
Even for the fate
Riddled with
Tangled plagues
Keeps the eyes
At the stars above
And soars, falls
Falls and soars
With neverending
Aspiration to fly
Across the sky
Even on one
Winged foot.
